PeopleTools 8.50.04, 8.50.05
User clicks on Clear on Search Page and expects to see blinking cursor in field on search page. Instead, cursor disappears and user needs to manually position cursor in field and click to invoke blinking cursor.
1. Navigate to the Modify Person page
2. Clicked on Return to Search
3. Clicked on Clear
4. Field is cleared out and no cursor appears anywhere in any field.
5. Manually click in desired field to activate cursor
Cause
Engineer has been able to replicate in 8.50.04 and 8.50.05 environments. Appears to be a bug in the 8.50 patch releases. (Engineer attempted to replicate in 8.50.01 and could not do so).ICE 1961909000 created for Development to address.
Solution
Until bug has been resolved, workaround is as follows:1. Navigate to the Modify Person page
2. Clicked on Return to Search
3. Clicked on Clear
4. Field is cleared out and no cursor appears anywhere in any field.
5. User will manually click in desired field on search page to activate cursor.
